What kinds of items can I sell?

JewelersRow features unique and fine jewelry. If you make or sell high quality jewelry, we encourage you to register and list your work with us.

Does it cost anything to list my work?

JewelersRow offers two different studios, Commission Free Studios and Commission Studios. JewelersRow Commission Free Studios do not require listing fees, and we do not collect a commission. Artisans take advantage of all the marketing and exposure benefits of JewelersRow, including unlimited product and image uploads, built-in Ecommerce, top priority placement on category and search pages, direct contact with buyers, links to your own website and social media sites, as well as possible exposure in one of our many print publications.

If you are serious about marketing yourself and selling your work, a JewelersRow Commission Free Studio is the least costly option to choose. To obtain a Commission Free Studio, artisans pay a low monthly ($14.95) fee. Commission Free Studio owners can cancel or switch from a Commission Free Studio to a standard Commission Studio at any time.

JewelersRow Commission Studios have no listing fees, no monthly fees, and enjoy most of the same great features and marketing exposure as Commission Free Studios. Commission Studios do require a 25 percent commission of your retail price on any pieces that are sold through JewelersRow. To eliminate the commission fee, upgrade your Commission studio to a Commission Free Studio

Which studio option is best for me?

We love to earn commissions, but the most cost effective studio for artists selling many items, or items with higher pricing is a Commission Free Studio.

If you sell lower priced work or have just a few items to sell, a Commission Studio may be best for you.

You can easily switch back and forth from a Commission Free Studio to a Commission Studio as your needs change. Please keep in mind that all pending orders and inquiries are subject to the payment method in force at the time the purchases were made.

What are your transaction fees?

JewelersRow charges no additional fees. Please keep in mind that your credit card company may charge a transaction fee.

How do I handle shipping?

When you list items with JewelersRow you may select your own shipping prices. You will receive this amount in addition to the price of the item you list. Please consider packaging, shipping and insurance costs when submitting your shipping price to us. Your stated shipping costs should cover shipping within the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia.

We want to make shipping easy for you. In the event an item requires special crating, you may enter $0 for shipping and include a note in the product description that shipping is NOT included. Buyers will contact JewelersRow directly for accurate shipping quotes before they place an order.

Should I keep my retail prices consistent with other retail stores and my own website?

Yes. We encourage you to keep your retail prices on JewelersRow consistent with any other retail stores and online venues including your own website. This will ensure authority in the pricing of your pieces. In other words, being consistent helps your brand.

Can I cancel my account and remove my items?

Sure, there is no commitment. You can cancel entirely or switch between a Commission Free Studio or a Commission Studio at any time. Keep in mind that all pending orders and inquiries are subject to the payment method in force at the time they were made.

How do I switch my studio type or cancel my studio?

Switching your studio type is easy. There's no commitment and you can switch as often as you like. To switch from a Commission Studio to a Commission Free Studio simply click "Upgrade Membership" in your Seller Menu, or click any of the buttons prompting you to switch to a Commission Free Studio. You will be directed to PayPal to set up your monthly payments.

To switch from a Commission Free Studio to a Commission Studio, go to your Paypal account and cancel automatic payments to JewelersRow. Your account will then be converted to a Commission Studio.

No matter how many times you switch between studio types, your product listings will remain intact. Please contact us if you would like assistance. We would be happy to help.

To completely cancel your studio and remove all of your listings, please contact us directly.

How do I change my items description, pricing or images?

Just click "Edit a Product" to make changes to your items or simply call contact us. We would be happy to help.

When do I get paid for my items?

All orders transacted through the JewelersRow site are paid upon successful completion of an order and after the 30-day return period has expired (January 31st for all holiday orders). You will receive an email immediately upon receipt of an order that contains detailed payment and shipping instructions. JewelersRow offers several payment options including PayPal or check.

How am I paid for my items?

When a buyer purchases your item, you will receive the order and shipping instructions via email. There are a number of ways for you to receive payment. Most sellers are paid via PayPal. More active merchants may elect to receive a check or direct deposit payment. When you make your first sale, we will send you an email with instructions for choosing your payment option.

What happens if I sell my item somewhere else?

Yes, you may. If you sell a listed item, please remove it from your JewelersRow studio. We do not want to disappoint our customers by offering an item that is no longer available. You can easily delete or replace items on JewelersRow by clicking "Edit a Product."

I am having trouble submitting my items, can you help?

The most common reason for trouble with submitting items is due to the large file size of an image. Please try submitting a smaller file size. If this does not solve the problem, please try log out of JewelersRow, closing all of your browser windows, and then relaunching your browser and logging in again directly from our Home Page. If you are still having trouble submitting your items after these steps simply contact us. We would be happy to help.

How do I get a video to play on my studio page?

Videos are a great way for potential buyers to "get to know you" and get comfortable buying your work. To embed a video on your JewelersRow studio page, you will first need to upload your video to your favorite hosting site, such as YouTube and copy the embed code to the "Video Embed" box on JewelersRow.

Locate your video on the hosting site and share it (on YouTube, simply click the "share" link located below the video. Next click "embed." Take the resulting code and paste it into the "Video Embed" box on your JewelersRow Edit Profile page.) A video with a width of 480 or smaller appears the best.

Is there a limit to how many items I can submit?

Please submit as many items as you would like to sell.

What are your image quality guidelines?

Images are perhaps the most important component when displaying your work online and in print. The goal of your images should be to display the best possible views of your work to a potential buyer. We allow a maximum size of 3MB per image and JPG's in RGB at 1,000 x 1,000 pixels are best.
