*** Please allow one week, as all bracelets are hand crafted to order *** My most striking piece yet! The first one sold in 2 days, but don't despair - more lumber just arrived! This piece in Bolivian Rosewood is my first bracelet in an exotic lumber. Rosewood is a prized cabinetry lumber imported from tropical climates such as South America or India. The extreme variations in grain make each piece unique. The tones range from deep red, to chocolate brown, and even approach black in some cases. The natural oils in Rosewood make it a little challenging to glue and finish, but the results are breath-taking. I finish these pieces with a medium gloss to let the lumber do the talking. These bracelets are my own design, using a construction technique that I developed. The wood is bent and formed into a circle to maximize its strength. The process is derived from my experience building strong, durable furniture that doesn't sacrifice beauty for function. Who knew a chair and a bracelet had so much in common? For more on my design philosophy, visit my website at ... The bracelets are approximately 2 3/8" on the inside, which is snug, but not tight on the wrist. The gap in the band is approximately 3/4", which allows it to slide around the wrist, but not fall off. They are approximately 1" wide, but only about 1/8" thick, making them amazingly light for their bold appearance. All dimensions will vary slightly because of the handcrafted construction involved. Inner diameter and gap sizing can be accommodated at no extra charge. Each piece is signed on the interior with my emblem, and packaged in a handcrafted origami gift box.
