The round faceted agate stones are in colors of rust and white, black, brown, gray, green and more. Black matt finish onyx wafers form a beautiful frame for the rich colors of each agate. Now for the 'wearable art' piece of this necklace. I began with a large dark mahogany African wood cylinder. To that I used black suede cord to securely tie a large round black African clay bead and a dark brown carved half-circle shaped stone. Then I added two very old Tibetan relics - one in a rusty red, the other a gray color, then some chain, pewter rectangles with words on all four sides: prosperity, courage, fire, water, love, intuition, strength, serenity, water, earth, patience. All the good stuff! The wearable art pendant is 4" wide and 4-1/2" long. The necklace was designed to be worn short - length is 18". Closure is a very old button with loop. One only.
